FORTNIGHTLY BINGO
Get ready to dab, shout and win with Bingo at the Sundowner Hotel Whyalla, kicking off Tuesday, 13th October.
Join us every second Tuesday for a fun night in the pub, with plenty of chances to win and a relaxed atmosphere perfect for a midweek catch-up.
Entry is $15 per person, with eyes down from 7pm.
This is an 18+ event, so round up your mates, grab a drink and get your bingo cards ready.
MEGA RAFFLE DAY
Saturday, 24th October
Get ready for a massive day of prizes, giveaways and plenty of chances to win at our Mega Raffle Day on Saturday, 24th October.
Across the afternoon, guests dining with us will win loads of prizes – $1000 cash, a weekend escape package, food and beverage vouchers, plus plenty more!
How to enter on the day:
Every $10 you spend in venue on food and beverages will earn you 1 raffle ticket. It’s that simple! So, round up your mates, come in for lunch, stay for a few drinks and soak up the atmosphere.
At 4pm, all eyes will be on the big one. We’ll be announcing the winner of our $25,000 Cash Giveaway LIVE in venue. If you’ve entered, make sure you’re here for the announcement – because you could be walking away with a serious payday!
All other prizes will be drawn following the cash giveaway after 4pm.
Hanging around? Enjoy our 3-hour drinks package for just $65 which includes a selection of beer, wine and spirits.

Boston Bay Wines Masterclass
Sunday, 15th November
Join us for an afternoon of exceptional wine, delicious food and great company as we team up with Port Lincoln’s Boston Bay Winery for an exclusive wine masterclass.
Hosted by winery owners Jan and Lachlan Allen, this special experience will take you on a journey through six carefully selected Boston Bay wines, paired with five delicious canapés prepared by the Sundowner Kitchen, showcasing the incredible seafood and fresh produce of the Eyre Peninsula.
From fresh Coffin Bay oysters and bluefin tuna tataki to Spencer Gulf prawns, beef kofta and artisan cheeses, each pairing has been thoughtfully created to complement the wines.
What’s more, there will also be door prizes and plenty of fun along the way!
Select from two sessions below – Session 1 from 12:30pm-2pm, or Session 2 from 3pm-4:30pm. Tickets: $70 per person. Dietary requirements can be catered for. Please specify at time of booking.
Halloween Party
Saturday, 31st October
Things are getting creepy at the Sundowner! Join us for a Halloween party with live music by DJ CRVNCHY BITS, prizes for Best Dressed and exclusive drink specials all night. Plus, our popular slushies will be pumping at Happy Hour prices. We’re kicking things off from 9pm, so come in your spookiest fit for a night of fun.

Melbourne Cup
Tuesday, 3rd November
Make this year’s Melbourne Cup one to remember with a charity luncheon. Part proceeds will go to Ronald McDonald House. In addition to sweeps and prizes, Sundowner will continue the festivities with an after party in the front bar.
